Rendering

drag to rotate the object

Rendering literally means generating (graphically) a two-dimensional image from a 3D model and/or animation using specific rendering engine software.

Rendering is the final stage of computer-based graphic design and gives a photorealistic appearance – i.e. like a photograph image – to a model and/or 3D animation.

The rendering process requires information on the object's geometry, viewpoint, visible surface textures, lighting, materials and environmental characteristics.

In its engineering design work, PROCEDI maintains a close relationship between 3D modelling, 3D animation and rendering in order to reduce design times and costs and improve overall quality.

The creation of 3D technical animations is a trump card in engineering and engineering marketing. As and when required, it can make a product fascinating, whilst at the same time providing all the information needed to understand its functional and technical aspects.

The 3D animations rendered by PROCEDI are an example of how products and concepts – even complex ones – can be portrayed in a simple, immediate and engaging way.
